The Florida teenager, named Haleigh, who found herself sitting courtside next to Justin Bieber at the Miami Heat playoff game on Monday night, told Seventeen magazine there is nothing going on between the two of them.

Haleigh says she had no idea she was going to be sitting next to the “Beauty and a Beat” singer beforehand.

“The only words that he said to me the whole game were to scoot over when he sat down,” she told Seventeen.

Told you so! During an appearance on The Talk on Friday, June 7, Khloe Kardashian opened up about her long-time support for sister Kim Kardashian’s current love — and father to her daughter-to-be — Kanye West.

“We’ve known Kanye since 2006 or 2007,” Khloe explained. “And he’s always been into [Kim] and loved her. He just always was so obsessed with her — in a good way. And I just thought that was so cute, and she was like, ‘No we’re just friends or whatever.’ And I just was like, ‘I think that you two are so similar with fashion or whatever you guys are both into.’ And so I said ‘Just give him a shot.’

She continued, “And then one day — I don’t know what happened, she acts like it was her idea, like I never said it, ‘Wait, I think I really like Kanye.’ And I was like ‘Hello! I’ve been telling you for years!”

Referring to Kim’s lavish nuptials to NBA basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011 (Kim infamously filed divorce papers 72 days later in Oct. 2011), Khloe laughed, “We could have saved a whole wedding!'”

The pair finally settled their divorce on June 3, 2013.

As for West, Khloe isn’t the only Kardashian family member to express her loyalty to the rapper. Despite Kim’s stepdad, Bruce Jenner, recently revealing that he’s only met West “once,” he referred to West, 35, as “my good friend” and “family” during a June 4 appearance on Jimmy Fallon.

Scarlett Johansson Sues French Publisher

Scarlett Johansson is not saying “oui, oui” to a bestselling novel in France, suing publisher JC Lattes for the unauthorized use of her name.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress is less than pleased that she was depicted in the book, The First Thing We Look At, and has filed a lawsuit, seeking compensation and damages for “breach and fraudulent use of personal rights,” and seeks a ban on “future transfer of rights and adaptations of the book.”

The book, which was published in France on March 20, reportedly centers around a mechanic who meets a woman asking for help. The mechanic believes the woman is Johansson, but the character is actually revealed as a woman named Jeanine Foucaprez, who looks nearly identical to the Avengers actress.

President Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney will face off in a town hall as part of three campaign debates set for this fall.

In the Oct. 16 town hall at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., “citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues,” the Commission on Presidential Debates announced today. “Candidates each will have two minutes to respond and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion.”

The commission said town meeting participants will consist of “undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.”

The first of the three 90-minute debates will be Oct. 3 at the University of Denver and will be devoted to domestic policy. The third and final debate will take place Oct. 22 at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., and will deal with foreign policy.

The vice presidential candidates will face off Oct. 11 at Centre College in Danville, Ky.

All of the debates will be moderated by a single individual and will be broadcast from 9 to 10:30 p.m. ET. The moderators will be selected and announced in August.

The candidates will not be allowed to make opening statements but will have two minutes for closing statements.

The announcement:

Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. and Michael D. McCurry, co‐chairmen of the non‐partisan, non‐profit Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), today announced formats for the presidential and vice presidential debates that feature extended discussion of major issues to be announced in advance.

The formats for the 90‐minute debates are as follows:

First presidential debate (October 3, 2012, University of Denver, Denver, Colo.): The debate will focus on domestic policy and be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on topics to be selected by the moderator and announced several weeks before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.

Vice presidential debate (October 11, 2012, Centre College, Danville, Ky.): The debate will cover both foreign and domestic topics and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the question.

Second presidential debate (October 16, 2012, Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y.): The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.

Third presidential debate (October 22, Lynn University, Boca Raton, Fla.): The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate and will focus on foreign policy.

Miley Cyrus expresses relationship woes seemingly about Liam Hemsworth

The last few months have been a whirlwind for the 19-year-old former Disney star, and it appears to have left some aftereffects. On Thursday night, Cyrus used Twitter like it was her personal diary, sharing intimate thoughts about some of her apparent relationship woes.

“Ever feel like you want just… something more,” Cyrus tweeted to her nearly 9 million followers. “Not sure what exactly… Passion perhaps?” Three minutes later, she followed that up with, “Sometimes I feel like I love everyone more than they love me. Hatttte that feeling.” Twenty minutes after that, she added, “Thought of the day: Maybe it’s not that they love you less, they just love you the most they are capable of loving.”

While Cyrus didn’t name names, the posts certainly sounded romantic in nature, especially since she used the word “passion.” (One wouldn’t be upset if they were lacking passion in a relationship with a parent, sibling, or friend, would they?) And seeing as she became engaged just three months ago, suspicions immediately jump to her 22-year-old fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. Apparently, her Twitter followers felt the same way and asked if her relationship with Hemsworth was on the rocks. Soon after Cyrus sent out yet another tweet, writing, “And, no, there is not trouble in paradise… Just thoughts.”

(Dharma/INFphoto)A couple hours later, Cyrus — who must have known she was going to cause a stir with her tweets because she has a tremendous number of followers — popped back online to update the Twitter world that she was hanging with Hemsworth, with whom she shares an 8,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style home outside Los Angeles. “Having some quality fiancé time,” she wrote. “Just what I needed.”

Like many young celebrities, Cyrus seems to be living her life on an accelerated schedule. Her May engagement generated a huge buzz because she’s so young. However, she later said they won’t be rushing down the aisle, telling Marie Claire that they plan to have “a long engagement.” At the time she accepted Hemsworth’s proposal, she was already under scrutiny for her dramatic weight loss, which she credited to Pilates and a gluten-free diet. And then there was her mega-makeover in August when she drastically changed her look, debuting a blonde, partially shaved hairstyle. While Cyrus later said the haircut made her feel more comfortable in her skin than ever before, she was also very defensive of criticism about the new ‘do, sparring with Twitter followers who said they didn’t like it.

Then there was the fight. Last weekend, Cyrus and Hemsworth were at Beacher’s Madhouse nightclub/theater in Hollywood watching an 82-year-old female stripper shake her booty (we aren’t kidding!) when a fight broke out between them and another patron. The alleged victim claimed he and his friends “accidentally” bumped into Hemsworth’s chair and an argument ensued during which the unidentified person was punched.

No charges have been filed, but if they are, we’re sure she’ll write all about it … in 140 characters or less on Twitter.
